The MINT program has appointed Matthew Baird Director of Operations and Strategy. Baird joins us from the Center for Advanced Digestive Care (CADC) at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP) where he had responsibilities for matters relating to strategy, operations and financial management.
Prior to joining NYP in 2012, Baird worked in a range of healthcare roles in the United Kingdom, including strategic planning at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, financial management at NHS London, and policy development for the UK Government Department of Health where he also served in the Office of the UK Health Secretary. Baird obtained his undergraduate degree in Politics and Law from The University of Strathclyde, Scotland, and his MA in Political Science and MPA from Villanova University.
